Today The World, Tomorrow Ludlow for ‘The Age of Stupid’
Oscar-nominated local celebrity Pete Postlethwaite’s latest film ‘The Age of Stupid‘ sees its world premiere on 15 March, launches in the UK on the 20th and will be shown at Ludlow Assembly Rooms just over a week later, on Tuesday 31 March and Wednesday 1 April. The star himself will introduce the film at Ludlow on Tuesday, and discuss it with the audience after the showing.

Pete Postlethwaite as The Archivist
‘The Age of Stupid’ is a powerful film in which Pete Postlethwaite stars as a man living alone in the devastated world of 2055, looking at old (real) footage from 2008 and asking: why didn’t we stop climate change when we had the chance?
